I have followed the Big Ten Conference specifically for many years, but greatly enjoy college track from around the country. With all the college coaching turnover that seems to happen yearly, I was wondering where some of the really good ones have ended up - being that I don't seem to see them coaching in college any longer. A couple come to mind, such as Steve Fritiz who was at Kansas State and Scott Bennett who was at Minnesota and then Illinois State most recently.
How did they not end up with jobs? Seems that there are some bad coaches who keep landing job after job and some solid producing coaches who got left out and haven't gotten back in. Any others that come to mind?
