Chad Ochocinco said on the radio this morning that he soaked injured ankle in a warmed up bucket of teammates urine. I know he is a clown but the PTI show this afternoon said that Latin baseball players have done this with their hands. Anyone heard of this? What is the theory behind it helping?
Don't understand it for the ankle. For baseball I think it toughens the skin and makes it harder for pitchers to get finger blisters.
Assuming this works (big if in my mind), you could probably get the same effect with uric acid dissolved in saline, without worrying if you there's a virus in the urine. On the other hand, maybe it's all HGH that makes the pro athlete urine so effective.
Piss is the best thing for healing/toughening a popped or torn open blister. I use my own, not my teammate's.
I just go with Epsom salts.
Chad Johnson's brain is probably soaking in urine too so this is not surprising.
