Here is your answer:
http://www.anonymousconservative.com/blog/the-theory/rk-selection-theory/Because women are more intelligent than men.
I assume you mean available libertarian women. My theory is that most libertarian women only became libertarian because they married a libertarian man. They became housewives, assuming their whole persona from their husband, including their political leanings.
Women are incapable of self rule and true independence. They want and need leadership from a strong leader, that is usually a man.
Even your most liberated of feminist looks to the group rather than to herself.
Two explanations, lots of others out there:

There are less libertarian women because they have a greater capacity for love and empathy, exhibit less sociopathy and narcissism and are generally less inclined to make decisions based a combination of selfishness and fear.
Oh snap!
Objection! Assuming facts not yet in evidence.
That is to say, are you sure that there are few libertarian leaning women? Could you cite a source for that assumption?
Agreed. Plus -- putting what you said another way -- they are typically able to understand wider contexts and the interconnectedness of human society. I have yet to meet a libertarian (and I've met more than a couple) who actually has an understanding of any (any!) human society and how it works in the real world, as opposed to the Randian fantasy world.

libertarians tend to be individualists interested in what society can contribute to them. Most women are more interested in how they can contribute to society. Libertarians see themselves as a cut above everyone else, whether they are or not. Even women in high status positions see themselves as more average than they really are.
Social systems these days have been designed to give women protection and equality or at least work toward these goals. Take away government support and you go back to times where men oppressed women. This is what women are concerned about.

Women have a vested interest in believing that the reason they earn 78 cents for every dollar than men earn is because of rampant discrimination. They don't want to believe that it is because they work fewer hours and choose less lucrative careers. Big government types are happy to play into this ego-sparing fantasy.
OP, let's restate your question a little more clearly: "Why do I encounter so few libertarian-leaning women?"
That would be because, when you start talking about libertarianism, most women can sense that you're sympathetic to it; and, wanting to distance themselves from you as much as possible, they adopt a statist persona in hopes that it'll help make you go away.
Now I, by contrast, have encountered many "libertarian-leaning" women.

There are more issues than pay inequity that concern women.

Like pee inequity.
Women in our current culture are on average less intellectually oriented (due to conditioning, not nature) and thus more apt to base their politics on emotion ("liberalism") or tradition ("conservativism").
