I was starting training after cross country (my school doesnt have a track team), and I had been doing 30 mpw at most for xc, so then i was like damn, i gotta be at least at 45 during track, so i was at like 40 for a couple weeks, and then I started getting pain my my ankle, and so i was like just gotta run through, so i did my nine miler 2 weeks ago from today and it felt terrible, but i just ran through it. So i took tuesday off bc it was scheduled on my training as off, and i took wednesday off, but then i was like ugh lets just push through, prolly something minor, so i did a tempo on thursday, it was supposed to be 20 min, but i stopped after 2 miles bc it was slow and was hurting bad (i wanted to be at 6 min pace, but it was like 6:25), so ive taken everyday off since that thursday, and ive biked and swim some. So yesterday I went to the doctor, and of course he had no idea what was wrong, so he said i should go to a sports specialist.
The pain now is in my lower shin, rather than the original ankle pain. it hurts to do like leg lifts (calf raises) and to like jump, but i jogged a block and it felt fine.
The pain is like from the top of my ankle to like the first third of my calf.
