This was last year at the Nike Festival of Miles. Brandon Miller from Ultimate Speed Academy ran a 4:32. His performance was overshadowed by Fisher's sub 4, but a 4:32 from an 8th grader is still unbelievable. Just did some research and saw that he has been running amazing times for a while now, and winning junior olympic national meets and setting NR's for his age group. He is the real deal. Interestingly he ran a 51 400m sprint, a 2:00 800, and of course the 4:32 mile. I wonder what his two mile or 3k would be. He did this while 13, and he could probably set some 13-14 age group USATF and AAU records again this year. I wonder how he stacks up against the world's very best at his age. Here is proof. http://www.flotrack.org/video/771220-boys-mile-junior-high-invite-7th-grader-runs-432. http://www.athletic.net/TrackAndField/EventRecords.aspx?SchoolID=40432&S=2015. There might have been a thread about this a while ago i don't know.
