Look at the jobs that the AF has. I mean, you could do air traffic control for maybe six to ten years, then you get out and you have a $100,000 job. Same but less money with HVAC, electric, or plumbing. Or you can do languages and then when you get out, maybe you could work for the CIA. Or you could work in safety. Then when you get out, you work with companies as a safety specialist.
Or you can try applying to become an officer. Anyway, joining for four years could give you some decent advantages. Government is supposed to give vets extra points when they apply for jobs. Plus, you could see the world. They have bases in Italy, Germany, England, Japan. This is a route that I wish I had taken when I was struggling. I just didn't know much about it.
