I always am hearing about how important it is to have good form, and to not heel strike or over stride, but does any of it matter? Example: Look at Prefontaine running and notice how he heel strike or a more modern example is Drew Hunter who seems to shuffle and heel strike some when he runs. This is just off the top of my head, but there are many great runners who have far from perfect form. What are your thoughts? How important is proper running form?
