My best 1500m time is 4:48. Can I break 5 minutes mile? This week workout I did.
Sunday 18km long run 90 mins
Monday 20 minutes tempo run 5.1km rest 10 minutes than 6 times 400m in 75 seconds rest 1 minute.
Tuesday 30 minutes easy run 6km
Wednesday 4 times 400m in 78 seconds rest 45-60 seconds 1 lap walk 6 times 400m in 78 seconds rest 45-60 seconds last 2 was 74 seconds.
Thursday 30 minutes easy run 6km
Friday rest
Saturday 400m in 66 seconds rest 75 seconds , 200m in 32 seconds and rest 2 minutes 300m in 50 seconds. And rest 10 minutes and the next set same thing but slower. 400m in 69 seconds rest 2 minutes, 200m in 34 seconds rest 2 minutes and 300m in 52 seconds.
So how do I taper? 5 days left?
