Myself for one.
I've gone back to the ASICS Gel Cumulus.

Nikeman is a Nike executive who fought for that change. I would blame him
I've posted about this multiple times. I've been a Pegasus loyalist for years ... Through years of college running and then into my adult life with marathon training. And now (not to be too dramatic) I'm at a total loss for what to do with my dang footwear.
The toebox turned into this terrible Euro-trash casual inspired ninja slipper. The cushioning is gone, and I feel like I'm running on bricks straight out of the box. It feels like the arches flattened, which is compounded by incorrect sizing.
I'm pissed, and I cannot figure out where to take my money now. F Nike for killing my favorite 100 dollar shoe, and F the other shoe companies for making the only alternatives cost 160+. I'm basically at a crossroads with running and I'm blaming it on my shoes ... Terrible, but they deserve it.
I should clarify, the change came from version 29 to 30, I think.
29-30 change in upper same tooling. 31 Upper and tooling change overall a disappointment.
The Pegasus 29 was great. Wish I had bought 25 pairs of them to last awhile.
Bill Bowerman urinated of Phil Knight
I think Nikeman designed the Pegasus. He is also Phil Knight's illegitimate son
you aint the only one
I've only seen mo back on the 31s as of late, after using the 32s for a little
The Peg 30 still had that wonderful, soft cushioning. That was gone with 31.
Pegasus 26.
I fell in love in them, fell asleep in them, woke up in them, ran on roads, track, mountains, over streams, rivers, rocks, raced, trained, did speedwork, long runs, hills, took a beautiful girl to the movies, travelled, climbed trees in them.......unfortunately companies change great shoes.
The minimalist thing has taken away our cushioning.
The 28, 29s and 30s were my favorite running shoes. The newer models are horrible. The changes they made have inly made the shoe worse.
