will be running a marathon in the next couple of months. I have been doing all of my workouts in the adios boost 2. I saw that they just recently came out with the adios 3. Any one tried them out yet? any big difference in the new model?

Outsole is completely continental tire instead of the old quickstrike material. Much better.
whats the difference between the material? is two-three weeks enough time to break a shoe in for a race? or should i stick to the adios 2?
2-3 weeks will be plenty. The bottom of the third is just the same rubber throughout instead of the plastic strips on the 2nd version. Better durability, grip, and feel.

I've put about 50 miles on the 3s and they are different. Much more volume in the upper, so not as form-fitting as the 2s. Visibly more midsole and outsole material in the forefoot. The forefoot is softer and more flexible than the 2. If there is a difference weight-wise, I can't tell. Overall the shoe is softer and more flexible. Still fast but definitely different.
Your summary jibes with the specs on runningwarehouse. Slightly lighter and slightly higher toebox height. All the additional outsole does look good, but I'm not sure the extra toe box will be good. I'm currently running in the adios 2.

anybody know of any good deals going on for the adios 2. Im looking for a 10.5.
I'm debating whether i should try these new ones or stick to the adios 2. Will be paying a new pair for this coming race but stuck between trying something new or keep what i already have.
I picked up 2 pairs at the outlet for $150 right before the 3 came out. They were marked down to $99 and the second pair was half off. If you have an outlet close check that out.
