Ear Buds for running/working out?

Apple ear pods, for the following reasons:

1. Hybrid in ear/ear bud design. They stay in your ear while moving (never had one fall out), and because they are not actually inside your ear cannal, they let sound in. This is the single most important thing to me because I run outside and need to be able to hear cars. I also find them more comfortable than inner ear monitors.

2. Cheap. If they break or anything, no big deal.

3. They actually have decent sound and lows (especially considering the price)

4. Fully featured in-line remote for controlling my shuffle during runs. This allows me to forget it's even there since its clipped on and doesn't weigh anything.

Any other suggestions?

If you have ability I would recommend getting wireless bluetooth headphones. I use a cheap Chinese pair I got off the internet and they actually work great. No cords make a big difference.

I only wear them on the treadmill, wearing headphones outside is not a smart move.

You can't just stick in ear buds. They have to have ear loops on them to keep them in place.

Apple earbuds may stay in your ears, but they fall out of mine even if I'm just sitting down. People have different sized and shaped ears, so the same earbuds won't work equally well for everyone. OP, try different ones out if you can, or buy some that come with different sized earbuds so you can customize.

What works for me are earbuds with the rubber hooks that you rotate into your outer ear. I've had Jaybird bluebuds that work well but other brands have the same way of holding the earbuds on.

Apple earpods won't even stay in my ears sitting still. Literally if I nod my head on Skype they will fall out.

Not too fancy but solid sound and the design keeps em on. In winter I've been wearing them under my hat and that seems to work fine too.
