I know there's a race across the Chesapeake Bay in MD and the race across the Ben Franklin bridge in Philly.
Any others longer than 5k?
Thx.

Cooper River Bridge Run in the Holy City. 10k.
I've always thought a long race over the CBT complex would be fantastic.
The Cooper River Bridge Run in Charleston is fairly prestigious. Course did change with the new bridge though . . . one uphill instead of two.

There's one in the Florida keys
Is there one in Rhode Island too? And one in Florida somewhere??
Yes - Rhode Island - the Pell Bridge Run over the Pell Newport Bridge.
Mackinac Bridge, 11k.
7 Mile Bridge run.
Marathon, FL. Every April, I believe. Slower any more than I ran to finish 7th or something in the 80s, but it still goes on. (And there's a small hill, too, it's a bridge that climbs enough for sailboats to go under.)
MacPass miles from Halifax to Dartmouth.
The Great Columbia Crossing is a good 10k (not much competition though) across the Astoria-Megler Bridge on the Oregon Coast.
I ran the Bay Bridge Tunnel Marathon around 2002 or 2003. It was a logistical nightmare to shut down the Bay Bridge for the race, however, and the race only lasted two years. First 14 miles over the bridge and through a couple tunnels, then 12 through Virginia Beach.
New ultramarathon idea.

If I remember correctly, the second year they held it, the wind was real bad.

The NYC Marathon goes over 3-4 bridges (Verrazano, 59th St., Willis Ave, 3rd ave)...I think
There used to be a race across Lake Pontchartrain Causeway, which is a 24 mile bridge in Louisiana. I don't think it's run anymore though.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
