I have an easy run today, but it's new years day! So there is no way to distinguish myself from the masses!

If you're a consistent runner, neighbors know you're not a resolutioner. In fact, you may be the inspiration to some resolutioners in your 'hood. Just go out and run, you probably didn't care how you looked all the other times you ran last year.
You know - Look relaxed.

Haha, I have those shorts!
If you're gliding along in shoes and clothes which look used, as opposed to gasping and occasionally walking in bright, shiny new shoes, you'll be just fine. Besides, who cares what other people think?
This post reminds me of something I read before. A lady was expressing her fear that people might mistake her for a new runner whenever she bought new shoes.
That's really a silly notion. If you're running consistently, it will be readily apparent in your physique and in your running form. Not to mention, I'm sure that your recovery day pace is still going to be faster than most folks' maiden New Year's Day runs!

Good work!
Yes, I was at about a 9:30 pace today! So I was passing all the hobby joggers. Lucky it was only a 20 min run, I will be sore tonight!

Running for 2 hours at sub 6 pace usually gets the message across.
basically me
If you're not fat, you don't look like a "resolutioner"
All the resolution runners are fair weather fans and typically overdress.
Is it cold where you live? The simple solution is to run shirtless .
i went REALLY hard, like, way harder than any resolutioner could have gone. people were staring and i looked bada$$!
