Two if you count some story about some jerkoff dad leading the Boston marathon for a few feet.

Real runners don't read RW.
What do they read?
It's more surprising that there is even one story relating to elite level competition on that list.

I've not even glanced at a Runner's World since high school and even then I knew it was a joke and not applicable to anyone serious about the sport.
When RW first began, it was great. Now it's just ad's.
the 50 iron mans in 50 days in 50 states, and with an average time of sub 12, that is quite amazing and definitely belongs in the list!
But shame on them for not mentioning Genzebe and Asthon
They should have mentioned how questions arose about Mike Rossi's recent almost sub-20 5k.
They're written quite a lot about Genzebe. But those weren't among the ten most popular articles.

Didnt that dude admit to doing at least one or two of the legs on an elliptical and/or stationary bike and doing the "equivalent" mileage?
Why would RW need stories about elites when they also own RT?
I wonder how many of the 10 longest threads on LRC for 2015 would involve elite competion?
I would have guessed 0. It is not a magazine for runners interested in professionals. I was surprised at one.
However, it may have more next year since they plan to absorb running times, right? And former running times fan may read it for the extra pro content, right?

OMG runners are so pathetic
WEAK
SKINNY
SCRAWNY
Why don't they just call it "WEAKLING'S WORLD"?
I checked out a recent issue of RW in my chiro's office earlier this week and was pleasantly surprised. There was a great piece on Hispanic immigant runners in NYC's West Side Runners Club--all of them fierce competitors, all of them working challenging full time jobs and managing to run 60-100 mpw regardless. It was inspiring. All is not lost.
People seem to be missing the fact that this list of ten is from their website, not the magazine.
The website has written articles about Rupp, Cain, Hasay, Huddle. Puskedra and more. But "most popular" means those other non-elite things get more hits.

yes he did
Read T and F News if you want elite. You're being critical in a nonsensical way.

From the Running Times Magazine Facebook page:
We made the difficult decision that Running Times will no longer be published beyond its January/February issue. This will enable Runner's World, which already serves runners of all ages and abilities, to broaden its ambitions, connect with runners in new ways, and cover our sport more deeply as it begins its 50th year of publication
