Getting about 25ml of blood drawn on Wednesday and racing the 1000m saturday morning. Should I expect some sort of impact. I'm aware it's not much. But can someone ease my mind?
Thanks

25ml is nothing. Nothing to worry about. It's about half a percent of your total blood volume.
You need quantities around 250-500ml (blood donation) to start having measurable detrimental effect. Usually 1-4 weeks before complete recovery. As the red blood cells develop in the bone marrow and circulate for about 100–120 days in the body.
