Anyone visit hometown and realize they should have moved away sooner.
Slushy dirty snow and dust everywhere. Cars covered in salt and grit. Smoggy with crazy traffic. Everything covered in grime. What a dump!
What else? Crazy high prices, lazy rednecks, nothing to do, f'ing cold, drinking culture, slippery roads and footpaths.
I'm back in new hometown and what a difference. Clean and beautiful. Courteous drivers. Less crowded roads. Runable year-round. Healthy people.
What else? It'll take a month to recover from the training damage down from this trip.
Amazing what moving can do and respect to those that train in crappy cities like this one.
