Bama will beat fellow SEC cupcake Florida then lose in the natty semifinal to the big10 champ
Do yourself a favor and think before you post.
SEC played 4 non conference games today.
S Carolina lost to Clemson
Kentucky lost to Louisville
Georgia beat Georgia Tech
Florida and FSU just started
Not terribly impressive.
Only impressive showing today was Alabama, but that was against an overranked and overhyped Auburn team, who started the year ranked #6 of all things. Auburn is pathetic this year.

Bama will stomp Florida. Florida is really bad after their starting QB got busted for PED's. They nearly lost to Vanderbilt and Florida Atlantic. Florida will make Bama look far better than they really are.
Ohio State will silence you guys again.
ESecPN posted an article about how Florida automatically gets into the final four by beating FSU and Alabama.
South Carolina is the second worst team, after Vanderbilt, in the SEC yet they only lost by 5 to the #1 ranked team in the country. They also beat UNC, who is 11-1 and will meet Clemson in the ACC title game. But the SEC must be overrated if they lost to Clemson by 5...
Alabama was not impressive today. They scored a late TD when Auburn seemed to have given up. That late TD should count same as Alabama's loss to Ole Miss doesn't really count.

Per Alabama homers, a win is a win not matter how ugly. 12-0 > 11-1; does the maths make sense to you?
And I disagree with that philosophy completely. An 11-1 team can easily be better than a 12-0 team. Different schedule, some teams match up better against teams with better records stylistically, etc... Point was one of the worst SEC schools matched very well against the teams who will be playing for the ACC championship. Then you have mediocre USC playing for the P12 title. In fact, the P12 did terrible against tough out of conference games. That's an overrated conference. And the B12 teams played an even easier out of conference schedule than the SEC. Oklahoma's multi-overtime comeback win against an ok SEC team was the best out of conference win for any of their top teams. But we only get to criticize SEC here and apologize for the other conferences.
Well then, SCar could easily be better than Alabama, also Vanderbilt, using your ill-logic.
Not a football fan, but I don't understand the premise that Alabama cruising to victory over an SEC team indicates that the SEC continues to dominate college football.
My conclusion based on this thread title is that the OP is not intelligent. His apparent interest in football reinforces my conclusion.
Carry on football fans.
How so? In fact, that statement isn't in any way consistent with my argument. Nice night trolling the internet?
Using SC's gift wrapped victory over North Carolina (even Spurrier would admit to that) on opening day is a pretty lame argument for the SEC's supremacy. Besides that, the conference's best non-conference win is Alabama's win over Wisconsin.
Parity reigns supreme this year. Embrace it.
I watched the SC-UNC game. Perhaps you should have. They were clearly better than UNC. I'm not even using that to show SEC supremacy. I was using to show how crappy another 'Power 5' conference is. Which went along with the entire point of my first post about how you guys will apologize for the short comings of every other conference but then criticize the SEC. I pretty much that explicitly. But the trolling here becomes less intelligent day by day. I actually hope you guys respond to chuckle at the next nonsense you respond with.

If you had actually watched the game, you would have seen UNC drive up and down the field while Connor Mitch looked like a deer in the headlights. Marquise Williams managed to hit Skai Moore right in the numbers in the endzone not once, but twice, the second of which sealed the game. Spurrier had a quote after the game to the effect of "440 yards and 17 points? That doesn't add up." He knew they got away with one.
Anyway, one game does not decide how good or bad a conference is. All the power conferences seem fairly equal at the top this year, though some deeper than others.

You obviously did not watch the game. The stats by far favored UNC: total yard, yards per pass, yard per rush. The difference was 3 turnovers for UNC and 0 for SCar.
UNC plyex good offense in the 1st quarter, got an early td and then did nothing after that. They were outscored 17-6 after that and certainly didn't didn't look in control. Based on how SC performed against Clemson today I can see them getting a similar win over UNC even now. Notice how UNC's offense had seemingly no issues scoring points in their conference games? It's not because SC was good this season. It's because the ACC just wasn't any good. Also, people keep bringing up Alabama as overrated which is laughable. For instance, Wisconsin barely lost to B10 'powerhouses' Iowa and Northwestern but were soundly beaten by Alabama. Definitively beaten beyond a shadow of a doubt. And you guys are ridiculously overlooking, or ignoring, just how crappy the P12 is and not even remotely discussing how the B12 top teams played cake schedules. But that's fine.
Yards difference was minimal. SC had more 1st downs and more points. And they kept UNC out of the endzone after the 1st quarter. So UNC turned the ball over 3 times and SC had no turnovers? And you are unable to make any connections? Yep, I definitely saw it.
