It's time for everyone to take a stand against superior athletic ability. Why should they get to win all the time? It just isn't fair.

What does it matter? You both get the same SWAG as the winner even though you did zero training, are 30 lbs overweight, and didn't even run the event.
Fight 'fast privilege'!
Races marginalize the hobby joggers of society.

I'm nowhere near the top 1% of runners, and I win most of the road races I enter.
I won 2 races this year and I struggle to stay in the top 9%. There is opportunity out there but you have to look for it. (19:05 and got stopped by a train for 15 seconds)

We could all strike until the president resigns.

Agreed. Now let's think of analytical solutions to fix the problem. First we could have a circle jerk on a running message board. Then, let's spend 3 hours praying to Jesus, including 45 Hail Marys and 230 our fathers. Then, we could for vote for reality tv star race directors. Those outa fix the problem!
You rednecks are never gonna make it to 2024.
But of course the top 1% win less than 2% of all races because on any given Saturday there are literally 300 or more races across the United States.
Now, if they could somehow appropriate the work done by other people as if it were their own, then, the would be able to take 99% of the races.
You should be even more angrier that 1% of runners beat 100% of hobby joggers all the time.
Struggle with math much? There are more than 30K runners in the U.S.If you can break 17 for 5K, you are in the top 1%

The fastest runner at an average 5k is what, 3 times faster than the slowest.
Now imagine if the richest person in America aaas only 3 times as wealthy as the poorest...
Running is downright socialist in comparison
And in hunter-gatherer societies, the top guy could carry, what, 3x as much stuff as the poorest? Eat what, 3x as much food? That's the ticket, eliminate technology other than fire and stone tools!
