After the game he blamed teammates for not getting him easier shots.
The most selfish overrated bully gunner in the history of the NBA.

Who?
Another Kobe Klankerpiece. Rank #1--counting from the bottom up--; 122nd of 122. FG% 31.1%. 3% 19.5%.
He is quite awful now. Judging by Swaggy P's comments on 'some players treating it like it's a video game,' something's gotta give. RIP Kobe
*ranking based on qualified players, not bench scrubs.
Just looked up his game log.
Shooting 31% from the field and 19% from the 3. Only made 1 of last 17 3 pointers. Told a reporter he wasn't concerned about his shooting %, he could average 35 a game if he wanted to.
Of course he could if he bullied his teammates into letting him take 42 shots a game. I hope all the coaches and parents teach their kids this is not the type of player you ever want to be.

Kobe doesn't know how to change his role as ages to help his team. Without question is presence is hurting the chemistry of his team.
He should come off the bench and start providing leadership that makes teammates play better.
The Lakers are trying to keep this quiet but Kobe barely practices with the team.
“We’re being smart,†Bryant said. “I’m in great condition. I can run all day. It’s just not a matter of doing it in practice. You don’t want to beat yourself up in practice.â€
Hence, Bryant participated in about 10-15 minutes devoted to each 20-minute drill in a practice that lasted just over three hours. Scott also plans to sit Bryant out in one of the Lakers’ two-a-day practice sessions...
As a Warriors fan, I got my first look at Kobe last night. He definitely looks really slow. His only move seems to be to drive parallel to the basket and then fade away. His lack of quickness compared to all the other players on the floor is quite obvious.
I guess the Lakers feel indebted to him and that is why they are keeping him around until the end of the season. I can't see how having him on the floor helps the team in any way.
The problem is that Dr. Buss treated Kobe like a spoiled child. His kids took over the team and they continue to treat Kobe as their father did. Rather than continuing keeping Kobe as a player they could have hired him as a consultant.
There are other ways of giving more money away to someone than continuing to allow someone to embarrass themselves. At real companies this is called "putting them out to pasture"--you still get paid but have no responsibilities.
Kobe has zero lift in his legs as he leaves a lot of shots short. One huge part of his game was his ability to get vertical to get room to get shots off, and he can't do it any longer, which leaves him with the NBA version of taking set shots. He's super easy to defend now.
Has not modified his game one bit to adjust for the fact all his spring is gone.
55,000+ minutes in the NBA does a number on your body, undoubtedly.
Interesting stat:
Apparently, last night's game was the first Laker game in their 67 year, 5,301 game history in which no player scored more than 10 points.
Kobe has to go. If they could relegate him to 6th man, and he could aim for 10/3/4 in 20 minutes on greater than 40% shooting...that would be a start. It's gonna be a few years before the Lakers make the playoffs again.
Us his current two year contract the worst in NBA history?
Yes, because the Lakers allow him to continue to play and be floor leader (always shoot first). As stated, he doesn't actually practice with his teammates. Any other player would be benched. Not Kobe. He is too powerful to be benched.
Maybe he could help the 76ers

Someone needs to explain this to me. Why is a single player so powerful? Is he management too? Equity stake?
One more reason I don't like basketball. The last game I watched for a few minutes was a couple of years ago. Modern game play seems to rely on one or two players. There's the star! There he goes again! Boring.
He is to powerful to be benched because the Lakers owners can't see the truth. Remember that Jerry Bush created the problem. His kids were star struck to own the Lakers, and have players come over to their home. They are still star struck.
Kobe belongs in the BB Hall of Fame as one of the greatest individual players in the history of the game, and as possibly the most toxic to team chemistry ever in the history of the NBA.
