Out of interest I thought I would take a look to see what teams from the top-10 at this year's NCAA return the most guys for next season.
What I found interesting is that the majority of the top-10 return at least a scoring 5 and there aren't instances of what we saw last year with Portland (a complete transitional year that sees most if not all of the scorers graduating). I think this means that most teams will be looking ahead thinking that next year is theirs to be had but unfortunately most of the top teams find themselves in the same situation. And how about the perennially strong teams that weren't at Louisville this year but likely to be out for blood next year such as Portland, Northern Arizona and Wisconsin? The findings are below:
Syracuse - return 4 (4 scorers - lose #3, #6, #7)
Colorado - return 3 (3 scorers - lose #1, #2, #5, #6)
Stanford - return 5 (3 scorers - lose #1, #5)
Oregon - return 5 (5 scorers - lose #6, #7)
Iona - return 6 (4 scorers - lose #4)
Arkansas - return 5 (3 scorers - lose #3, #5)
Louisville - return 5 (3 scorers - lose #1, #3)
Washington - return 5 (4 scorers - lose #1, #7)
Michigan - return 4 (3 scorers - lose #1, #2, #7)
Georgetown - return all 7
