I'm going to have 24/7 access to a pool from January-March. Of course I won't let any water training cut into my mileage, but I'd like to make use of the tool while it's there.
What drills can I do in the water to compliment my running training?

I've heard of guys who do a light 20-minute swim every night after hard training to flush out their muscles. No idea if it works though.
