Since you're already a runner and probably skinny, your best bet is to take advantage of your superior aerobic stamina. For fighting that means to wear out your opponent. You want to make them waste their energy trying to get you. A lot of MMA fighter dudes go for taking their opponent down and grappling on the ground. As a skinny runner that is not the strategy you want to go with. You want to dance around your opponent and maybe use items lying around as projectile weapons. You don't necessarily need to run away but you want to keep far enough away to stay out of your opponent's reach.

oh yeah and I want to add you might want to pick up a stick or something and wack your opponent a few times while you juke around, running around back and forth and keep your opponent confused with no way to reach you. If he grabs you it's pretty much over.
