For those who run marathons and peak at about 70 mpw, what is your mileage base between training cycles. Let's say you take 2-3 weeks post marathon for recovery, then have 10 months until your next marathon due to some life circumstances. Would you just stay at 50 mpw for the first 5 months and then start a 15-18 week training program peaking at 70 again, ahead of your race? Thank you.
