What's the shortest distance you can run with it still being effective to your weekly mileage? A mile? 2 mile? around the block?
Anyone with any experiences would be very helpful

Why does it help to run barefoot if doing less than four miles?
I think a 20-30 minute run provides some benefit.
when I first started doubling, I did a 20-30 min run, or 3-4 miles. I thought it helped. I imagine any distance at all would be useful as it loosens your legs up a bit, even if you just jogged a mile. The cost though is that unless you want to stink, you still have to shower afterwards so why bother if you're ony going for 5-10 mins.
Hear you on that, I feel like my life is showering sometimes haha
I was once told by a pretty fast Brit that if you are going to run slowly for less than 30 minutes that you "may as well stay home and have a wank."
Surprisingly, it does make sense...
