8 of top 10 boys teams were Utah.
Get them outta here, Please.
The altitude gives them an unfair advantage or something.

Five out of the top six teams at the heartland NXR meet were from Minnesota, do they get their own region too?
Yes, Minn should have their own Region also.
10 of the top 10 boys teams and 10 of the top 10 girls team at NXN South were from Texas. I suppose you think they should get their own region as well.

Texas should STAY in their own region, based on the drubbing they get at Nationals year after year.

Interesting, especially since Texas has tended to outperform the Heartland at nationals.
Illinois went 1, 2, and 3 in the team standings for the Midwest region (boys).

Agreed, Illinois should have their own regional as well.
In fact, let's rearrange the entire nation based on how many teams have qualified in the past. It would only be fair.
California, New York, and Texas have all averaged 4.5+ teams combined each year. They clearly need their own regions.
Illinois, Minnesota, Utah and Washington have all averaged 2-3 teams combined each year. They probably should have their own regions as well.
The rest of the nation is just pitiful, together having only averaged 17.5 teams (those other states combine for 26.5). We should probably just split those states into three regions (West, Central, East) so they might actually be competitive with the rest.

I think you are on to something. I think it would expand the popularity of the sport in those "dark" regions. $$$ though.
CA and NY have their own already.
