Flat out the NCAA D1 champs should have not been run on a course like they did today. It was a complete disservice to the athletes and a black eye for the sport of cross country.
I am sure U of L and the city worked very hard to stage the championships and by no means is this to discredit the hard work put into the weekend....but let's get real! Holes, roots, rocks and deep ditches should not be on a championship course.
Yes Louisville is a much much nicer city than good ole Terre Haute but for the what I saw today at the course as I walked the entire thing was a JOKE!
Until another school/city can come up with a course that can handle the championship standard that Terre Haute has set it shouldn't be any other place.
This just just a prospective from a Xc fan that has been to many meets/courses.
