I wanted to see what she had to say right after the race. The kid is such a class act.

Agreed. Doesn't even play the "oh, I was injured and haven't been able to train much the past few weeks" card, even though that was probably a huge factor in her poor finish today. Keeps it focused on analyzing the errors she made during the race (not going out hard enough) and is clearly looking out for her team and congratulates Seidel at the end.
I will certainly be rooting for this girl come track season.
She's not a kid. She's a 5th year senior.
Major props to her. I can't tell you how many people when they bomb either storm through the media area or just avoid it or just say "I can't talk right now."
She didn't run off and was great. We've praised her for this in our women's recap which is now final.
It's rare than a college athlete has the ability to stay grounded and keep perspective like that. She's got the mindset of a champion. Bodes well for the future.
Yes, I'm a big fan. Now, if the media could just learn how to pronounce her name correctly that would be great. I cringe everytime I hear Ace-ling! Ugh!
Aisling was ailing but gave her best for the team. Getting out fast on a sore calf is not wise, she needs to protect her future. She is the best U.S. woman who is consistently just out of the spotlight. Hopefully that changes in 2016!

How's it pronounced?
Give a kid a "special" name, expect different pronunciations.
It's pronounced Ash-lynn. And being that she's one of the premier athletes in the sport and her name is said frequently, they should take the time to learn it.
