Ha! Larry Bird doesn't do as much ball handling in a night as you do in an hour.

Another couple of balls and an extra set of fingers?
Deer hobby joggers,
Time to taper and carbo load. Focus on resting up and downing LOTS of eggnog. It will get you across the finish line.
Gobble gobble!
3 more days, folks! The gobble countdown is on!
Roll call:. Who's in for your town's turkey trot on Thursday?
I'm there.
Stop bringing it up. You are making me nervous. I hope I don't get DFL.

I'm bringing it up again. 48 hours to go. Hobby joggers! 48 hours to go!
Can't wait to run my Mile High Turkey Trot. I've finished my first and only run of the year in August and I've been tapering even since that run. I got a massage last week, so I'm nice and relaxed. However, I've been suffering a bit of taper madness, because I'm not sure that I did enough training this year, only 2.5 mile at 12 minute pace around Wash Park. Getting my Gu belt ready with 6 caffeine Gu's plus my Camelback. I hope that is enough nutrition. At least, I have the pie and beer to look forward to at the finish. I hope that I break 48 minutes for the first time in the 4 mile race. I missed it by 30 seconds last year.

Been a proud hobby jogger for years, now I can say I finally trotted on Thanksgiving. Jah Bless!
HELP!!! I accidentally ran 20 miles Sunday and I don't know if I am going to be able to win my neighborhood turkey trot! My legs are terribly sore and I am worried that all of my hard training from the past 4 months is going to go out the window. I would greatly appreciate any tips on how to recover so that I am ready to blaze on Thursday. The winning time is normally around 19 minutes and I don't know if I am going to be able to outkick some of the local 40-year-old dads.

If you have a cryotherapy place around you I would advise that you go there 3 times a day. It will definitely help with the soreness you are experiencing. If you can't find one you should probably just stay in an ice bath up until 5 minutes before the start of the race. Good Luck!

How do you "accidentally" run 20 miles? All trolling aside, I am genuinely curious how you accidentally run a very long way.

My 4th gen apple watch glitched out and told me I was at mile 12 for about an hour.

What? Are you trolling? Your stupid watch got stuck at 12 miles for an hour and you just assumed it must be right? Did you really think you ran a one hour mile?
What level of stupidity have you reached? You need to throw that watch in a lake and learn to use your brain.
