We were having our weekly LRC meeting and discussing Chris Solinsky's Olympic chances. (Running Times has a nice article on how he has not given up hope of making the team on the track:

)
Most of us agreed that Solinsky's chances weren't very good. Steve then threw out this line, "He's my favorite runner still competing - if you call what he's doing competing" (and I even got Steve's permission to use his line).
Once Steve said that, I turned it around and said, "Who's better right now Solinsky or Ryan Hall?"
I don't think people are nearly as dismissive of Hall as they are of Solinsky's chances yet I'm not sure who is the better runner right now without thinking about it too deeply.
(Also I predict this is the thread of the day and I will win the LRC tshirt).
