It annoys me how the elites like Kitwara will be upset there are no rabbits and then not go with a guy who is pushing the pace.

Kibet was or is an Auburn Tiger? JC transfer. 1st full, anything else on him besides those pb's?

Can't be any worse than the main webstream. Breaking from the race to do predictably lame interviews with bystanders ... stupid, and ridiculously stupid comments from some of the commentators.
They've caught Kibet, Puskedra about 5 seconds back, Kitwara & Rotich (the confident one!) up there.
Hey, Brojos :)
They have mentioned Letsrun on this broadcast

LETSRUN gets a big plug on my coverage!! regarding asking Rotich yesterday if Kitwara was the favorite….

Used to run at Auburn. He's a US citizen as he's running for the Army's World Class Athlete Program (WCAP). I think they said he's been deployed to Kuwait in the past.

NBC's marathon coverage is barely watchable. Roughly 8 parts junk filler and boring human interest stories, and maybe 2 parts mediocre coverage of the elites. This is why nobody in the U.S. thinks running is a real sport. I know this has been brought up on here many times, but I'm watching right now and can't help complaining because gosh it's awful.
Puskedra is still up there with the lead pack just before 10 miles. How long will he hang around for?
Lead pack down to 10. Luke! still there looming large! literally
Only live feed or I can find. Is there a better feed that only follows the elite runners without looking at the joggers?

If you get Universal Sports, you can watch it here.

I think that's the same link as Universal Sporrts. If you have sling tv sport's pacage you can watch universal. They show only the elite race but as this psotera nd Jonathan Gault told me- the commentating is awful.
You can sign up for sling here:

The coverage is truly terrible - after watching for ten minutes there was about 15 seconds coverage of the elite race, and that was only by chance in the background as some clueless reporter was "interviewing" a woman seemingly on the basis of her standing near the road the race was going past.
Although my favorite bit so far has been the footage of the wheelchair race seemingly shot on a ten-year-old mobile phone by a drunk cameraman.
puskedra spit hit kibet? pretty sure it did
I've got to say, when the NBC commentators actually get to talk, they're doing a pretty good job. The problem is, as some posters have noted, they cut away from the elite action frequently.
Puskedra picking a good time to have a good day. A solid performance her almost guarantees a decent shoe deal leading up to marathon trials. Nike will step back in if they haven't already. Looks great.
