The cross season is finally coming to the important races (conference, sectionals, state) and I need to start my taper to perform my best in these last couple 5Ks. I've heard different perspectives on what to do. Some say same mileage, just less intensity, and others say lower mileage with same intensity. I've hit 60 mpw for the last 6 weeks during the season, but now I need suggestions on how to taper properly to get the best results. Thanks!
