Symmonds releasing all his training leading into the Rio Olympics. Why would he give his competitors an edge!

What edge does the competition gain by knowing his training plan?
PERHAPS
red herring
noun: red herring; plural noun: red herrings
something, especially a published detailed training plan, that is or is intended to be misleading or distracting.
Idiot move once again by Nick Symmonds, Team USA is trying to improve the medal count at the olympics after a disappointing WC 2015. Him giving away his training secrets is only going to help others he races against
pretty sure nobody running 1:45ish or faster cares what workouts symmonds does. and if his workouts can help some 1:48 guys run 1:46 next year, then good for him for helping them reach their goals, but i doubt he's worried about some 1:46 guys. the only people who care what workouts he does are mostly running 2:00-2:10.
Where is he showing his training? fyi ironically I run 2.04...
Coincidentally*
Yes, where is his training plans. I am long distance runner and around 2:05 for 800 but still interesting to see
What do you think Rudisha, Amos and Aman will do with Symmonds' training logs that will help them?
Fishing, traveling, taking pictures with rungum is what he does for 10 months a year it seems like. Seriously one good weekend at the most important time (USA Championships) was 2015 for Nick.
How often is he in Seattle for a couple weeks in a row training with the other Beasts?
where?
link?

Rudisha is good for 1:39 low with Symmonds' training secrets!
Print it out and use it as toilet paper?
Man, I sure wish I could get a hold of Bekele's training log leading up to his 26:17. Then I wouldn't have to work a desk job.
Hello Nick Charmin,
My printer won't print on toilet paper. Can I buy a roll of your super absorbant training diary please?
Sincerey,
Skid Mark

No link. Mobile iOS app called sweat mobile. New type of training log, simple. Nick is probably getting a bit of $$ from supporting it.
Is it a good app, worth downloading?
i took a little time to check out their site, facebook. The technical folks seem a little green...Mostly track guys. I'd prefer to see more nerds mixed in. http://www.sweatmobile.com/about.htmlDidn't see any prominent investors listed, on any VC money. I imagine this will be too much of a niche market to get a funding round. Not sure how it will monetize? I would also imagine the product, as it is now, is still a little wonky. They just went into beta testing. So, it doesn't seem to be a finished product. They'll need funding to get a real developer in there, and that will take some funding.Market Comparison:I compare it to Sqor (https://sqor.com/) which is a social network for athletes and backed most notably by Brett Favre....and Strava. Sqor is uninteresting and Stava/RunKeeper/etc have been done. Sweat would have been an interesting product in 2008. Outlook:I don't see this version of the product having a large audience. It's more of a feature of a larger product. Their high end exit could be an acquisition by a company like Strava, but again, they'd have to do something technically compelling to get there. To answer your question about being a good app. I don't know, but probably not yet.
Any good? wrote:
