Post your PRs and your mileage from the past week.
I'll post my week after my long run this evening.
Replies from last week-
IllinoisRunner Killer workout on Monday, that sound's awfully tough, way to get through it without falling off too much. Solid 500m session, those are always tough, the long grass had to be quite aggravating. Sounds like a tough race, it seems like you may have moved up a bit too early, my general rule of thumb is to be in the place I want to finish in after 2 miles. Great week, nice job.
Work it Good session Monday, sounds like a tough one to me, those will make you strong. Way to follow it w/ another tough, but successful session. Sounds like you ran well, but not your best, that's always good, because it doesn't depress you, but it doesn't make you happy w/ where you're at, stay hungry. Solid long run to finish the week.
Blahdeblah Nice tempo, and 200 session. That tempo is awfully similar to one I did Tuesday. Wow, that's gotta be tough adding an extra 3.5 miles to a long run, but way to get through it. Nice job.
king_slayer921 A nice little AT tempo in there on Tuesday, that's kinda what I did on Tuesday of this week. Tough session on Wednesday, w/ some good results, that's good. Don't let it get to you, it looks like you ran well through the first 2 miles, now it's just time to focus on the strength work to get you through that last mile at that pace. Excited to see the results from this week as you said it will be the hardest week of your season.
Cogs Solid week all around, but I'd say for you especially, as you seem like a more rhythmic runner to me, that it'd be a good idea to go out directly on pace, and try to duplicate that in the 2nd mile, then see where that takes you in races. It also doesn't look like you're doing too much quality at the moment, so be aware of that, and that the better races will come towards the end of the season.
ABryr5 Solid session Thursday. Nice race, did you win that one? The way you described it, it seems like you did, but I can't tell. Good week, keep it up.
tracknoob Wow, I hope everything is better now. It's tough to see that, as I'd be devastated if that happened to me, because running is my life. It looks like you're still in decent form considering you said that the race was very controlled. Hope the recovery is coming along nicely. Good luck w/ training.
Cyclone$ Nice race on Monday, that's great. Yeah, I know what you mean w/ bad coaching, my track coaches are absolutely the worst possible coaches, and I practically coached the distance squad. Really solid race at the Six Flags Invitational. That's great that you're already that close to your goal for the season, keep it up.
OklahomaGuy Great session on those 800s, that looks really good to me. Nice race, even though you don't think you ran the best. There's not much you can really do about being low of muscular strength, which is obviously understandable. That's a good time for someone who isn't the best at hills. Keep at it, I like monitoring your training.
Overall a solid week, w/ some arguing on the thread too.
