Oregon's 7th girl today.
Really just shows the depth of the Oregon Women wow she will be back to High School form don't count her out she is a beast. GO DUCKS
Obviously she's not at 100 percent yet, after a year w/ injuries. This isn't a deer in headlights thing where freshman realizes that college running is tougher than HS. She was running well enough her senior year of HS to run among the Top-10 in the NCAA. If you doubt that, just look at how the other top HS gals are transitioning into the NCAA. Give her some time to get back to full health and fitness, and then lets see how that transition is going!

You're wrong. She was nowhere near top-ten NCAA when she was in high school.

Agreed, she was much closer to #1 than #10. Hopefully she gets back to 100% and continues her XC dominance.

Not even close. Top 50, on her best day, maybe.

Glad I'm not smoking what you are.
Where is the video first time she broke the course record in the Valley?
She should've turned pro.
The NCAA schedule will ruin her.

7th girl on her college team and you say she should go Pro. lol
If 6 girls on her own team can beat her what chance does she have vs G or T Dibaba or Defar or Ayana or V. Cheruiyot or Simpson or Huddle or Rowbury or Flanagan etc? She is an excellent prospect, she needs to develop racing girls she can win against (but are difficult for her to win against) rather than throw her in against Women she does not have a prayer against which would get her discouraged.

I agree with the OP that she would have been around top 10-15 NCAA material her junior year in high school. She was a two time NXN champion and her jaw-dropping record time of 16:00 on the historic (and very challenging) Mt. Sac course might be the best cross country performance ever by an American high school girl. Just to provide some perspective on that performance, two time Foot Locker champ Jordan Hasay ran the Mt. Sac course numerous times in high school and her best time was 16:27.
But Baxter appears to lack the speed necessary to be competitive on the track against top tier NCAA competition at distances of 5K or shorter. The marathon would seem to be her best potential event except that the hard heel impact in her running motion makes her prone to injury. She had foot problems throughout her last two years in high school and now in college.
high school Video please video
1) Learn to use the internet and Google, or
2) Go to the library and ask the nice 70 year old blue-haired lady at the desk to teach you.
Yeah, Hasay isn't that good either.
