I previously worked as an independent contractor doing internet-based "freelance" work, but my contract was terminated for violating a company policy that I thought was unimportant. Once you have a contract termination, you can't work through this company again. Obviously I need to find a new job. But in the meantime, for difficulty finding another, I'm considering creating a new profile with the company that contracts the work out using my dad's identity. The company would pay the revenues to my dad's corporation, which would then hire me as an employee and pay me the wages. We will of course pay all the applicable taxes. I realize that this is not a sustainable long-term arrangement, but is it outright illegal?
To reiterate:
-I will register to work with The Company using my dad's identity and SSN.
-The Company will pay the service revenues to a corporation owned by my dad.
-My dad's company will hire me as an employee and pay me the wages.
I will not do it if it's illegal.
