This is my first year of running and I got shin splints in my left leg but my coach still had me excercise but just a little bit less. Then I got shin splints in my right leg and my coach didn't know about it and she thought my shins were healing so she had me doing more running and then after a while I noticed that the pain wasn't as bad the pain in the top of my tibia and it is extremely tender about an inch and a half above my ankle. It feels like a bruise on my bone or something but it isn't visable.
Please help and should I go to the doctor?
