He's an above average QB, that's it. He's not Brady/Rodgers/Manning.

Who said that he is Brady, Rogers, and Manning?

Could you quote the text you are referring to? I don't see any allusion to Luck being three other people.
Everyone says he is the 4th best QB in the league. In reality he is 6th. So yeah, he's overrated.
No one in the history of football has been Brady/Manning. Rodgers maybe gets there if Brady gets injured and clears the way for some Super Bowl wins.
It's not like rational people thought Luck was Montana or even Elway or Eli Manning. More like Roethlisberger or Newton...
There has not Ben a decent black QB in league in 20 years. Doesn't seem they have mental makeup to succeed at that position.
Luck is overrated. He is too sloppy with the ball, way too many interceptions. People are gaga over his stats, somehow ignoring the 88 TD to 45 INT ratio -- that is not good. He also has six fumbles, not too bad, but four were last year.
I know people are sick of Russell Wilson and that Super Bowl pick was the worst ever, but his td/int ratio is 73/27 by comparison.
There's that guy up in Seattle, Russell Wilson. Then before injuries, Michael Vick was something special and Daunte Culpepper for a few years led one of the most potent offenses in league history. Kapernick had one great year, as did RG3 before injuries. A few other guys have had some good years. It then goes back to Steve McNair, whose best years were special and that is not going back 20 years to his good years. Before that, you have Randall Cunningham and Warren Moon, and now you are going back a ways.

He meant 100% black. Wilson is 50%. RGIII is major flop. His own teammates hate him. Vick? LOL. Moon was in 70s. Kaepernick is mixed. Are there no full-fledged blacks who have excelled since 1995? McNabb only one.
Cam Newton is not terrible

Cam is pretty good. But he is one success out of 40.
Why is Manning rated so great? One Super Bowl win and countless failures.
I think in rating QBs most people do not take into account the team that surrounds the QB. A great QB on a shitty team is not going to look great. An average QB on a great team is going to look above average.
Eli "the good Manning brother" has two super bowl wins.

In 2014 it was 20/7 (Wilson) and 40/16 (Luck). Essentially the same INT ratio, as Luck lead all NFL QBs in TD passes.
The Colts asked Luck to do so much more than the Seahawks asked of Wilson. See what happens if Wilson is required to put up massive number of passes.

True, but Luck had 16 picks in 616 throws to Wilson's 7 in 452.
Luck also had 4 picks in the playoffs, bringing his season total to 20. He led the NFL in interceptions thrown last year, when you add playoff games. Cutler and Rivers were next at 18.
Luck needs to be more careful with the ball, period.

...correct. Luck has no Marshawn Lynch in his backfield.
