I would not.
If you are dedicated enough to follow the program and do all the workouts on your own then you should be dedicated enough to just read his book, gain an understanding of the different training phases, and put together a decent plan based on his teachings.
If you are not dedicated enough to do that on your own then just join a running club so that you actually have training partners.
I have no coach and I'm 15 years old so I will read the book but I also need to get ready right now to race in October & November so I got the plan from him.
thanks anyway.
real world coaching is adjusting for optimal results and teaching athletes
how to make good decisions.
anybody who says they can tell you the best workout with a formula
months in advance is not telling you the truth

Okay. Follow the plan, but don't be a slave to it. Keep a training log of what you actually do. This will allow you to better adjust the plan over the next months.
If you're serious, you could post the plan and what you did each week, and let the letsrunners offer feedback.
He is a great coach. Ran my marathon PR following his generic plan. I recommend following it as closely as possible and see what results you get before tuning it. I bet you will surprise yourself on race day.

Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Matt Choi was drinking beer halfway through the Boston Marathon
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
