Come to America where everything is free! (except if you're white, Asian, or Jewish)

Sure, if you define "welfare" as poor kids who get school lunches.

That's confusing... Most immigrants are Asian.
Could you be a bit more clear on your definition of "welfare"? There is no single program called Welfare, so you'll have to tell us what individual programs you are including within your use of this nebulous term.
We should deport all these legal immigrants who are ruining our country. We should also deport my neighbor, because he makes me mad.

Its in the article. For reference 30% of native houses are on "welfare".
More fun stats
76% of immigrants with kids are on "welfare"
52% of native households with kids are on "welfare"
87% of immigants households had at least 1 worker. Only 76% of natives.
And if you look at the breakdown, everyone is getting medicaid and food assistence.

I'm not reading the article. The OP is trying to convince us that he is right. He can make the point. I am not doing the work to be swayed by his argument.
In the US there is an overall issue of low income workers that are paid so poorly that they receive some kind of welfare supplement to get by.
This pertains to many US born citizens.
It's just that immigrants are more likely to be low earners than the average American.
The industries that pay their workers poorly are very profitable but the tax burden for welfare costs is spread out.
99.9% of old people receive medicare which is just another form of welfare. I can't believe you aren't marching in the streets demanding the dismantling of that egregious program that encourages lethargy and a non-productive lifestyle in the twilight of their lives!

Let's throw out all the immigrants and give the country back to the back to the Native Americans.
Lies. Immigrants are not eligible for welfare and do not receive it.

Wow, it's really embarrassing how close native rates are to the immigrant rates. People who have citizenship and grew up with all the advantages associated with living in our country are more than half as likely to be on welfare as people who moved here after growing up in third world countries and, in many cases, are legally prohibited from working?
Throw out the 30% of natives who are on welfare and let the 51% of immigrants stay.
