Last week, I took a week off running. I went to Disneyland with my family and I wore my running shoes so I'd be comfortable. However, I noticed a couple hours in that I developed this tearing feeling in the inside of my arch. I took some it easy after the day was over. I ran on Friday and it felt like it did when I first got it. I've taken a 3 days off since then, but I need to run because m y XC season just started. What is this? I'm not sure if it's plantar fasciitis as I haven't felt any heel pain.
UPDATE: I ran for an easy 4.5 miles today. The run felt fine but as soon as I finished, it felt like the tendon on the inside of my arch was pulling, tearing, and fraying. It hurt to walk back. What irks me is the fact that it doesn't hurt to roll it out with a lacrosse ball but it hurts on it after running. What is going on? I bought insoles with arch support but I don't know what's going on? What should I do!?
