Isn't there anyone that thinks they can run a 3k within 3-4s of mo? Mo's dropped back in a number of championship races... I'm surprised no one had this as a backup race plan.

A good way to beat a guy that is faster than you is to take a head start... An even better way is to take a head start after that guy ran a hard 10k in warm muggy weather and then ran a 5k round. If you watch Mo's post race interview on the BBC you'll hear him thank people from British Athletics for helping him with issues after the 10k (i believe he mentions his hamstring). They should have tested him just like Ayana tested Dibaba and Mo likely would have cracked just like dibaba... Even if Mo didn't cede 3-4s to his competitors until 3000 left.
