Wow just wow, so these ethiopians and kenyans decide to transform a 5000m race into a 1000m race against a guy who has run under 3:29 for 1500m twice!
The only guy who kinda 'tried' was Ndiku and even then he tried too late with just two laps remaining. The ethiopians were never a factor in the race.
Final time was 13:50 with a blazing 2:19 last kilometer.
Seriously how can these guys come to the conclusion that it's better to pile 72 second laps than trying to run 62/3 all the way? It's really mind bogling to me!
The most unimpressive triple double I've ever seen, however I really can't blame Farah who actually has raced a hardish 10km 7 days before and just played to his strenght.
His competitors were really overestimating their own kicks, and didn't even try to get Farah out of his comfort zone. What a shame!
