don't trust the iaaf's splits, they're not for exactly 400m. notice that everybody's lead leg ran ridiculously fast? not correct, so why assume that his 2nd split would be correct
It was impressive whatever it was. And maybe faster than Makwala.
I timed it 4 times and get between 43.4-43.6 hard to tell when the 3rd runners crosses the line

They could put a chip in each baton and get exact splits easy.

Only an amazing mind would have had the foresight to embed timing wires underneath all the various the split points during track construction. May I humbly bask it the brilliance that is you?
