what are the most beneficial sessions to do?
Are you going to run a marathon on the track?
It depends on the stage you are. I like to do interval sessions with a distance of 1K, 1 mile, 2K and 4-5 weeks before the marathon a 3x6000, so I can have a rough idea about my pace in the marathon controlling my heartbeat.
