The number you need to know is 2.205.
Pounds to kgs, divide by it.
Kgs to pounds, multiply by it.
a kilogram is 2.2 pounds

You can't, strictly speaking. Pounds and kilograms measure different things.
Don't listen to any of these people. They are trying to trick you. You can't convert between units. Can you convert feet to hours? Of course not. Why would you be able to convert pounds to kilograms, then?

Kilogram is a unit of mass, not weight. The SI unit of weight is Newtons.
