Hi all,
I jogged 3 miles yesterday and finished with hill sprints x5 (training for soccer). I felt fine during/immediately after the run.
A few hours later, however, I noticed tightness in my left knee when sitting down, and woke this morning to moderate swelling and tightness just above the kneecap.
Ice and rest have helped to allieviate the tightness/discomfort a bit, but the swelling is still there, and something is clearly not right.
This is a first for me and I would greatly appreciate any thoughts or ideas. I plan on seeing an ortho tomorrow, but thought I would try a bit of crowdsourcing too.
