If I were to run a flat road 10k, as a male, about what time would I need to get to attract the attention of colleges?

If you run a 10k on a certified road course, then you could say its comparable to a track 10k.
Which colleges? DI, DII, DIII?

It's not the division, it is the individual school thst matters.
Op: since you didn't say a school, here are some generalities of road 10ks (while 18 or younger) that might attract some schools
Top programs (oregon, wisconsin, etc): maybe 31ish
Middle programs (davis, chico, etc): 33ish
Low programs (naia schools, etc): 34 all the way up to "did you finish?"
Of course they're usually more interested in your actual hs track times and xc performances at known high school meets, such as stanford, state meets, footlocker regionals, etc.
sub-30:00 for guys, but even then there would be questions.
Generally the faster the better
Unless we are talking NAIA that contests the marathon, pushing a road 10k time as your best race will only bring negative attention.
No matter how much of a long distance guy you are your best way to show off is with a good XC time. Some long distance guys are better at long, slow, hilly XC courses and others are better at flat fast XC courses because they are rhythm runners.
About 26:30 ideally.
