So with my first college XC season coming up I was wondering if Yall think I will be able to break 27:30 for 8k. So far this summer has been wild with many ups and downs but these past couple weeks have been solid. Here are my past couple of weeks:
M 5 mile progressive run in 29:15
T 8 miles easy (6:45 pace)
W 5 Steady state in29:50
Th 8 miles easy (6:54 pace)
Fri 10 miles 6:42 pace
Sat 6x800 @2:35 400 jog recovery 2x200 in 28-29
Sun 8 miles recovery
M 3 mile hard tempo in 16:38
T 8 miles easy (6:43 pace)
W5 mil steady state 29:52
T 8 miles moderate- easy(6:38 pace)
F 12 miles( 6:56 pace)
Sat 3x1600 5:25average pace 800 jog recovery
Sun 8 miles easy
Based on these past weeks of training do you think I am on track to break 27:30 for 8k
