So I used to run in the wave riders and then the ghost, and I was just wondering if the glide boost or Boston boost would be closer to what I'm used to, thanks!

I have put 500 miles on the glide boost, never worn the Boston boost. The glide boost isn't like any other shoe to me.
The boost material really is like a bounce. So you sink in a little, but then you bounce back quickly. Best way to describe it.
Wave riders to me are firmer and there's no sinking in at all in the first place. Ghost is softer and so I sink in but don't really bounce back as much.
Glide boost, like most adidas shoes will last you forever. 500 miles in, and I could go a while longer. I won't, though, because I just don't like it. I don't like sinking into a shoe much at all, even if there is a quick bounce back.
I loved adidas's pre-boost shoes, mostly wore the adios and the aegis because they were so firm. People derided them as bricks, but I loved them. My form just goes to crap in softer shoes, and I eventually get injured.
I run in the nike zoom elite and NB 580 or whatever it was that just got discontinued for the Zante (I seriously could never keep NB's model numbering system straight and am happy they seem to be actually naming their shoes).
I have a pair of Boston Boost 5s and haven't noticed any bounce from the foam. Note that the Boston's are a racing flat to all intents and purposes compared to previous Wave Riders and Ghosts
The Glide Boost or Energy Boost would be more like the trainers you have now. The Boston is more or less a marathon flat for people who prefer a little cushier shoe than the Adios.
If you are looking for a springy, highly durable shoe, the Adidas might be what you are looking for.
I liked the old Bostons better. The Boosts are way too flexible and soft, I've had to chuck them and search for older models online :(
