Who you got?
I think it will be Rousey's toughest fight. She could lose.

Rousey by first round sub or ground n pound.
Black Belt Judo > Blue Belt BJJ
All they are doing now is just feeding the hype until Rousey v "Cyborg" happens.

Correia is currently at +900. If you really think she has a chance you should bet it big. Would make for a nice pay day.
Don't really care, never liked seeing females fight.

I used to feel the same way but Rousey is simply an excellent fighter. The first female fighter I look forward to watching fight. She's lethal and unflinching, like Tyson circa '86.

Rousey via whatever she wants. This "fight" is the equivalent to a 16:00 5K runner trying to win a major marathon. Rousey is a world-class athlete; Correia is so far away from her in that sense it's almost comical.
The issue with women's fighting is that there is ZERO depth right now. Women with less than .500 records are ranked in the top 15-20 in the world because so few women fight professionally.
Rousey is so dominant because she's the only world-class athlete competing in a sport with only a few hundred serious competitors.

Her haraigoshi is like butta.
What are Correia's abilities and qualfications to be in this match?
She's 9-0. Her, Rousey and Holly Holm are the only undefeated batamweights left in the division after Rousey Took Cat to the cleaners. Holm is a top level boxer...32-2. My guess is that Rousey goes up against her next. Then maybe they can put together the Cyborg fight, but Rousey would have to go up in weight class. Women's MMA is like the men used to be where you had guys who could do one thing really well and then ok at other stuff (Liddel-striker, Hughes-wrestling, BJ Penn-BJJ), now all the dudes seem the same to me.
I miss the days of Mirco Crocop....right leg hospital, left leg cemetery.

The talent pool of women willingly to do this most unfeminine of all activities is so tiny that it makes labels like "excellent" meaningless. Rousey is a world class fighter in the same way Andy Kaufman was a world champion wrestler.

Lesnar vs Rousey? How do you think that fight would unfold?

Especially with that stick.
This fight will not be close, over in first round unless Correia uses jabs and kick to keep from Rousey taking her down.
On a side note I don't think Rousey would last one round with any male MMA fighter or boxer that has enough skill to fight pro in any weight class.

Interesting you mention this. I remember the old thinking was that if an elite boxer entered MMA he could beat those guys.
I'm interested in a Holly Holm v Rousey fight. Holmes was a dominant welterweight champion in boxing. So this would be similar in concept to a Mayweather v Jose Aldo fight.

Rousey of course. White Aryan Viking Power!!!
I think Cyborg is the only tough match-up for her. Holly Holm is an acomplished boxer but she doesn't have the ability to knock out Rhonda. And in a potential 25 minute match, I can't see her not getting submitted.
I feel Cyborg is a much tougher match-up since she has the ability to win by TKO and while I would have favored her 2-3 years ago, Rhonda has improved a lot and I would expect Rhonda to win at this point in time.
The only way I see her losing to anyone other than Cyborg is if she gets caught in a choke while in a scramble.
I don't know if women's MMA will ever become very big. You have thousands upon thousands of guys training in gyms, wrestling in high school, etc, but you don't see anywhere near that volume with the women.
But on another note, if you think Rhonda is fun to watch, check out Joanna Jerzejczyk.

Wow, she really beat up on that dude. Is Rousey the best fighter ever? Male or female.
Lack of involvement in boxing/wrestling as a youth is the biggest reason the talent pool is shallow in women's MMA/boxing. Almost every successful American MMA fighter on the men's side has a wrestling background. The foreign fighters typically have a BBJ or Muay Thai background, and those two disciplines also start early in life.
